TMULD-300 Ultrasonic Leak Detector including Transmitter  
 

When leaks occur they often generate an ultrasonic frequency that is beyond human hearing. These units convert the sounds into an audible  range for easy detection. The ULD-300 tests pressurized air lines, refrigeration systems, steam lines for leaks. Check for door or trunk seals, windshield leaks. Quickly and easily locate a leak location with this unique device.

In areas where leakage gases are not sufficiently pressurized, there is no ultrasonic sound for detection. The area can be pressurized with the ultrasonic sound waves created by Amprobe's UT-300 Ultrasonic Transmitter. This will allow the detection of cracks which would not normally be possible.

Features
  • ULD-300 with UT-300 Transmitter.
  • Locates arcing in an electrical system.
  • Useful in finding the ends of buried PVC pipes.
  • Detects any pressurized gas leak regardless of type CFC's, HFC's Nitrogen, etc. (non-combustible gas). With the UT-300 Transmitter it 'pressurizes" areas with ultrasonic sound enabling the ULD-300 to pinpoint leaks (used in areas where gas is not sufficiently pressurized)
  • Applications include air tightness of cars or houses.
